Taos Pueblo fashion designer Patricia Michaels will talk about the influences on her fashion designs that combine her strong roots at Taos Pueblo, with the modernist aesthetics of leading women artists and patrons of 20th century New Mexico: Georgia O’Keeffe, Agnes Martin, Mabel Dodge Luhan, and Millicent Rogers. Her talk will include images and video clips of her fashion shows and designs, including the work she produced for Season 11, when she was first runner up on Project Runway.
